More car boot finds

Post by LuckyLuca »

A productive visit today. I set my sights on small wooden boxes to use for storage of floats and bits and pieces. Came up trumps with these and only £2 spent

And a cheeky reel to clean up and take on my holidays!

Particularly pleased with the tea and cigar boxes. The pencil box looks like walnut, but I'm sure it isn't, it's too light. but it's in lovely condition and make a great float and shot holder.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Very nice.

Love that 'pencil case.' I had one to take on my first day at grammar school.

Some good finds there LL.

I was doing the recycling at work over the weekend and in the card bin were two wooden cigar boxes, it felt like christmas.

God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.

I was given one of those pencil cases as a birthday present, and left it on the last steam train I rode on out of Liverpool Street back to Romford probably in the late 50's. Funny the things you remember.

I agree with you Fred, the only thing is, I tend to remember older events easier, unlike something I did a few weeks ago....
