Reel-making..

Post by Watermole+ »

This is my first try at making a fly-reel.
It is a 2 3/4" reel for Nos. 2-3 Kingfisher lines (#4-5) and every single part has been scratch-built at home, using a 1954 small Myford lathe.

That is truely fantastic work. How nice to be able to make something beautiful and unique for you to enjoy for yourself. I would dearly love to be able to make something like that.
