Very nice. I have a couple of bamboo tubes in the post just for the same purpose!

Looks great as it is. I must cut down some bamboo for float holders in the fishing room instead of mugs and plastic tubs :Thumb:

I actually like that a great deal Leigh, as you say the patina. I always like tackle with a well used appearance, the look of having history and a story.....

Very nice indeed. The bamboo is incredibly light and strong as well which is great when travelling light and if you are like me when fishing you just throw the tube into a pocket and it gets even more knocks and patina even in just one season of abuse !
