Thanks for everyone comments you have given me some new ideas I'll keep my eyes peeled for some Ebony, that does look nice!

weather is forecast good for tomorrow I may go fishing.

I'm picking up an onion bag next week then fill it up with fish parts blended liver, chicken offal and what ever else I can think of, chuck it in the canal with a tethered rope for a couple of days and hopefully catch some eels.
