Thanks ExeAngler. The box is a one off!! Now I can work the laser cutter I have to tackle the intricacies of a 3D printer, which is easy to use but very hard to use the design software. I've also made a float making drill jig device that doesn't require a drill, and I must post a photo when I can.

I can see 3D printers becoming a real boon for fishing tackle restoration now that they have dramatically come down in price.(I saw one advertised for less than £300) It should be possible to make all sorts of replacement parts particularly things like reel handles and small gears.

Yes, I agree. If I was retired and wanted a hobby that earned money I would invest in a laser cutter and make and sell all sorts of bespoke boxes and other bits suitable for fishing.

Good stuff Trevor
Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

love the box ,its reminiscent of my first tackle box ,one day i'll get around to refurbishing it as I've had it kicking around for 30 odd years I think it might be time well soon as I've done my latest projects ..& I now know who too see about replacement deviders :Chuckle: .and I love the lid .
I try to be funny... but sometimes I merely look it! Steve

Thanks Chavender. I've just designed a float winder and will be cutting it out this week!
