Hi gents,would willow work for making a net head?
I spend most of my life fishing the Rest i just waste

Can't see why not...as long as it's well varnished to keep the water out.
Willow is actually very strong when bent, baskets are a good example. Bends well,light too.

I have seen one made with the netting made from nettle string by bush craft enthusiasts very good it was to.
