Very well done J.C., I have been thinking about the cane splitting problem and I
wondered if you were to drill a small hole at the bottom end of the split it might
stop the cane from splitting any further. :Hat:

Yes, very locally....from my wife's greenhouse! Its just ordinary garden cane, nothing special at all.
Any garden centre will have suitable cane for this type of project, it need not be anything special.
