WALTON'S ENGINE.."See-through" version..

Post by Watermole+ »

Prompted by the recent post on this little device, I made a replacement for my ageing one, crudely made a good while ago for gut twisting.

This one has three planet gears and is made from perspex and brass, with screws made from stainless steel.

Next year, I will make one with five planet gears, which will make nice furled leaders, but here are some pictures of the "see-through" version!

That's actually so beautiful I could simply look at it as a sculpture !!! Superb work, Sir. :Hat:

Yeah I'll just nip to the shed and knock up Waltons engine. No words.

Oh and whilst I'm at it I'll make it from Perspex so the exquisite gearing is visable :Hair out:

Superb as always WM+ :Hat:
