Just wonderful :Hat:

When Richard sent me some photos a little while ago I loved the miniature beauty so much that I commissioned him to make a limited edition of 12 for me: so you know where they'll be available shortly!

Reel wise I think a Hardy Triumph is the way to go - I'll post a picture of the combination when I get my grubby paws on the rod!

Don't you just love the eccentricity of the British?
How I wish that I had the skill to make such a wonderful rod
Hats off to you sir :Hat:

A quick look at the Hardly Perfect star back reel to go with the Hardly Perfection minnow rod.
1 1/4" Diameter, shown here compared to a 4" Diameter reel. :Hahaha: yep, definitely madness..

What a loverly little reel Wal, that I do like as being very unique :Hat:

The only thing is though is that you'd be there for ever batting the reel in trying to get yer float back from at the end of the run :Chuckle:

Thanks Stuart, but it will probably only hold about 5 yds of line and I think it would take a Mackerel float in the Severn bore to get it spinning. :Hahaha:
