Landing net with a few extras

Post by Paul Cook »

This idea had been put on hold for a while until I had a good enough excuse to put it into practice . The customer wanted something a little different on the handle so we agreed a small ink illustration just below the brass neck . From there the idea for the stoppers and thread protectors came into play and the illustrations were carried through onto these parts .
Bit fiddly but got there in the end .

I do love your net handle, I was looking at it and trying to think what it reminded me of. At first I thought a Japanese Brush pot and it came to me that it reminds me of Mauchline ware. :Hat:

PS.. The Fern finish would look lovely on one of your rich coloured handles.
