Used the catty for the first time today, tried it out with a few mixers and it was a joy to use. Fired them quite a long way too, well pleased. :thumb:

First coat of Yacht varnish went on this morning, darkened it up, looks even nicer now. One more tomorrow morning and on Saturday and it will be ready for Sunday's departure.

Hi,

Nice job, reminds me of Chris Yates's in the 'Caught in Time' DVD during which he starts off with a Drennan
match modern one before later producing his tree make, on the way to his 27lb Carp.
