float tubes....a first attempt

Post by Paul D »

Following the kind gift of a length of bamboo from good friend wally boy rob I thought I would attempt a few float tubes....these are just 2 of them. Quite simply decorated and they could if I'm honest do with another coat of varnish ....

Very nice; simply decorated can be as effective as complex. They are a very fine addition to the art; both the art of the "angle" and the art of the craftsman. I am sure they gave you pleasure in the creation as well as pleasure when selecting which float to use. What did you use for the base ? A sanded piece of wood ?

Exquisite! Nice and simple yet stunning and not overly decorated.

Lovely Paul. Nice to be able to combine your artistic skills and practical craft/making skills.
I like them very much indeed. :Hat:
