Folding Minnows Trap

Post by Santiago »

ImageImageImageImage

I have been asked by a fellow member to put photos of a traditional folding minnow trap back on the forum. The originals have disappeared because of photo bucket. This one was made out of perspex on a laser cutter about 2 years ago.

Not caught any minnows in it yet as I haven't tried it yet where minnows like!

Thank you for taking the time to repost these pictures - I like the fold flat design and will give it a go. I may upscale it slightly to create a bigger trap. Cheers Trevor :Hat:

Can you do me one in otter size?

I still use a standard bottle trap for minnows and it is still as effective as ever but I do like the design of your trap.

Do you think it might work with gudgeon, perhaps baited with a pinch of chopped worms?
The little blighters never seem to be on the feed when I need a few perch baits!
