Recommend a Leeds tackle shop?

Do you know of a good traditional fishing tackle shop, past and present.

Recommend a Leeds tackle shop?

Post by MaggotDrowner »

I've been working too hard this week and am determined to get to the river wharfe for my first session on the river this weekend. I'd like to go trotting with maggots, so I need to find a tackle shop in Leeds. Does anyone know of any? If not I'll make do with corn, meat etc which i can get from TESCO.

Tackle shops need to be near to Leeds city center, in Hyde Park or possibly the end of Headingley closest to Leeds as I will either be walking or relying on buses as I have no transport up here in university.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just done a yell search and there's 2 or 3. Kirkgate anglers, 95 kirkgate, or Astcor unit 68, row D, Kirkgate market. Or just do a yell.com search for tackle shops in Leeds.

I've never heard of Yell.com. I'll have to have a look. Thanks!
