Ah, might it be 'the carp pole fishing engineer'...always has some good auction items.

A very fine emporium indeed. He sold me my James Avocet one of my James Mk iVs a Match Aerial and an Allcocks Popular among other items all of which I still have and use. It was a sad day when he closed.

Forgive me gentlemen, but I was in Bewdley in June 2016 and the premises shown in the photograph look suspiciously like what is now an ice cream parlour. The times they are a'changing. Mines a 99 with sprinkles!!

i dont remember the shop but i always used to go to stan lewis i some times used to stay in his bed and breakfast but when i used to go to bewdley which was most weeks i always started the day with one of his breakfasts they were great he even had a stretch of the river
