The VFC Roadshow 2013!

Post by The VFC »

Hi all - as mentioned previously The VFC, under the guise of its new parent company "Hudson & Sons" (though I'd be surprised if I can get the perishers to actually do any work!), will be hitting the road this year and will have a stand at a number of Game and Country Fairs. We are starting small(ish!) with 8 or so shows this side of Christmas as follows:

27th -28th April: East Anglian Game and Country Fair, Norfolk Show Ground (getting slightly nervous now - not long to go!)
19th May: Redditch Vintage Tackle Fair
29-30th June: West Suffolk Game and Country Fair
8-9th June: Woburn Game and Country Fair
10-11th August: Lowther Game and Country Fair
7-8th September: Sandringham Game and Country Fair
14-15th September: Midland Game and Country Fair, Shropshire
12-13th October: Robin Hood Suffolk Game and Country Fair
19-20th October: Robin Hood Newark Game and Country Fair

Although we will be taking a range of vintage tackle on the road, if there was something in particular you wanted to inspect first hand then please let us know to be sure that it gets packed! As well as the tackle we will be stocking a weird and wonderful range of traditional products - Kelly Kettles, enamelware, pewter flasks etc. and will have a well stocked gift (with the emhasis on outdoor sports and angling in particular) and children's section too (can you guess which part of the shop the "Sons" helped choose stock for - thus the plethora of wooden swords and catapults etc.!?).

I'll be proudly flaunting my TFF badge when it arrives: if you happen by please do drop in to say hello, if its not too busy I'll even pop the kettle on!

ATB
Jim

All the best 'on tour' Jim. There's a small chance I may attend the Woburn bash. If so, I'll be sure to wear the badge and fill my wallet.

Good luck Jim! I may get along to Redditch fingers crossed.

Just remember, what goes on tour stays on tour!!
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.
