Gudgeon scales

Post by Snape »

Just picked up a set of gudgeon scales on fleabay

Can't wait to try them out with my little weigh sling (made from some orange netting). Here's hoping I catch a gudgeon which bottoms them out! :o

I came across this recently and couldn't resist. I`m going to use a cotton hair net or something similar to Snapes idea,as a weigh sling

So unusual and special, - scales for a genuine "gudgeon scratcher.." with an eye on the record...

These are great fun except you have to use an envelope as a weigh sling! :Chuckle:

I've got a set of these but unfortunately they don't weigh correctly. Even if I caught a 6oz gudgeon I doubt the scales would budge
