Hi Stu - I skimmed an article whilst queueing at the post office the week before last but not sure whether it was CAT or IYCF. Anyway it was OK but it didn't make me want to march to the counter and buy a copy.

Please excuse my cynicism but in essence: Angler sets out to catch a gudgeon from his local river - fails and then retreats to a pool where in the dying minutes of his day manages to hook one - cue photograph of said angler with fish in palm of hand.

Hope that helps :Hat:

I have to say that that goes on a lot in angling publications... more so in the carping ones... I know of at least 3 occasions where an "Angling Celebrity" has rocked up to a water and blanked so an alternative venue or library shot has been used to validate the "Celebrity's" methods
