I know. That was the point. I always have thought mine were slightly more than 1.5lbs...but maybe they are not and I am not putting a solid weight on the end to bounce it......I can snap rods in lots of different ways but that would be too much...yikes....crack....!

I have 2 MK1V JB Walker kit rods that my father built at the time and I used during the 60s and 70s and still in great condition

It becomes even more interesting to me now that I finally own a B.James MKIV Avon and a S/U MKIV. :Hat:
