The following Arthur Sharp books are all worthy in any ones collection.
Rod and Stream – 1928
An Anglers Corner – 1930
The Lure of the Float – 1931
A Fisherman Creel – 1932
My personal favourite being “The Lure of the Float”, one of the many books mentioned in the “A Passion for Angling” film series.

The most precious places in the English landscape are those secretive corners,
where you find only elder trees, nettles and dreams. (BB - Denys Watkins-Pitchford).

Dear Mark another good book from the pen of Arthur Sharp is Along Nature's Byways published 1931. You would probably enjoy reading Anglers Almanac Wilfred Gavin Brown, his other book My River is also a nice read. Regards Martin

I have just purchased 'Along Nature's Byways' on Amason (only £7.00), 'My River' for £4.00 from Ebay and I am bidding on Ebay for the 'Anglers Almanac'.

Re: Arthur Sharp
I've just finished reading The Lure of the Float. It has been a few years since I last read this book and what a lovely little read it is.
