Re: Anchor Meadow
I'm over that way from 1st July for a week might well give it a try!
To enjoy our sport as it should be enjoyed, our surroundings must be beautiful, for your true angler enjoys nature as much as he enjoys fishing. "BB"

Re: Anchor Meadow
When I did fish it, it was when the snow had been, frozen, defrosted and the river was rising by the minute, lots of melted snow contributing to the rise and apparently the fish don't like it, a few chaps had some pike and that was it. Certainly worth another visit shortly.I_am_mark_evans wrote:Hi Loop,

Also suppose to be big barbel there too
Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish
Re: Anchor Meadow
Yeah i've heard/read of big barbel, but i'd be happy with a few smaller ones rather than sit it out for just one biggie.
Deffo will give it a try soon
