BBC Tape of Compleat Angler/Pub
Water has been too low for fishing. Dug out a BBC Radio Collection two tape reading of Walton. Apparently a Radio 4 production read by Richard Johnson. Enjoying it a lot but not sure if still available as is old technology! Has anybody gone to the Eclipse Pub in Winchester ? I think Chris Yates dismisses their beer when he describes going to Winchester to IW's blessing. However, when my parents lived in Farnham my wife and I liked the pub very much on visits to Winchester.

Yeah I picked a copy at our library for 50p. Its good! Made me realise how convoluted walton's language is. He was no charles bukowski was he (what a book that would have been if he was). It demands full attention.
