Thanks gents. By no means perfect but a usable net and fairly pleasing on the eye. I am still amazed by the properties of cane. For a bit of grass, it is certainly useful stuff.

Hi all,

If you are after a superb Crabtree style net then I would highly recommend contacting Andrew Batchelor. I purchased a net head off him last year as back-up to my Barder Venables net, which I love, but with this net-head Andy made it's lighter than the Barder net and I can attach it to a 7ft 2piece Milwards landing net pole which gives you extra reach whilst not being too heavy.
