It is about as straight as I dare make it. I had to bend the butt in one direction. The tip needed straightening in 3 different planes. Not really surprising with something that long and thin. It still has a slight but hardly noticeable lean. Good enough for me to catch a few fish with, hopefully
Following on from the rod wrapper competition thread, I have finished the work on the Sealey update. I decided to go for the same whipping as my Hillman's whole cane. Gold and black twist with a red tip.
