I had to pop into town yesterday to get a new gas bottle and a few odds and ends, whilst there visited a few favourite charity shops. The first one I went into had a box by the door saying gloves n hats 50p and sitting on top was this hat. Made by Cotswold woollen weavers Gloucestershire in pure new wool and as new condition. At first glance my thoughts were Jack Hargreaves, so just had to have it. Got it home and had to steam out a few creases but here you go....

It is a brilliant shop that raises a lot of money for a local hospice, we take all our bits an pieces in there for them to sell as do our children one who volunteers, and one works there as a chef. A lot of people will not venture into or buy used from Charity shops but we always do.

A fine hat Sir, I love charity shops, I get a lot of pleasure buying from them knowing the good they do.

What a fine acquisition. Well done, Sir.
