Barbour patch

Post by Thommo »

Morning all, ive got a 4" tear on the cuff of my barbour gamefair and im looking to repair it before it gets bigger, rather than buy the barbour repair kit i was wondering if anyone on here would know where i could buy a small amount of waxed material so i can sew it on myself?

You often see old wax caps, hats, or jackets etc at the boot fairs for very little money. They should all be starting up again around Easter, that would be a good place to have a look. who knows you may be reporting back that you found a couple of Mark 4's and aerial reels for the price of a packet of fags! well we can all dream, can't we.

I stand to be corrected but I'm not sure Barbour sell the repair kit any longer? Your probably best to just sew up the rip with some waxed thread.

I've got a piece from a repair kit. It's brown I think and about 9" by 6". Your welcome to it if it's any good to you.
PM me your address and I'll pop it in the post.
