I'd imagine John Norris grabs most of the attention...
Ah, Armathwaite, a lovely village. Well to be honest I've often scratched my head at how the shop has managed to stay open, what with John Norris just being round the corner. It's the guns. Charles Sykes is a gunsmiths as well as tackle dealer, John Norris don't sell guns and, as you know, they like their guns round these parts eh?

As an angler of 55 years + there is no way on this earth that I can walk past any old tackle shop.. I guess that applies to most folk on this little forum too,

Yes I would be through the door like
Alice down the rabbit hole.
Tackle shops, and village bakeries.

My daughter was at the Uni there, no visit was complete without a peek in both shops :Chuckle:
