Hello from Warwickshire
Hi Everyone,
My name is Wayne and I am so pleased to have found this site. I will turn 50 in a couple of weeks time have been an angler since I was a small boy. The older I get the more I seem to be drawn towards a more traditional style of angling so finding a site like this is a wonderful thing indeed.
Two years ago I left the rat race and decided I wanted to work for myself and do something that I love. I acquired The Little Egret Press which is a small independent publisher of angling books and although it has been a steep learning curve and I am less well off than before I have never been happier.
Please don't worry, I am not here to sell my books but rather to meet new people and share a love of all things angling related and I look forward to getting to know many of you.
If any of you attend the Vintage Tackle Show at Redditch each May and November please come over and say hello as I always have a stall at each show.
Tight lines
Wayne

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying;
And this same flower that smiles today
To-morrow will be dying.

And this same flower that smiles today
To-morrow will be dying.

There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.
