Hello Nick, I'm also from Chester, have 2 Mitchell 300 reels with lots of spare spools. Retired ,18 months ago so have more opportunities to watch my float not move all day .

Welcome to the forum Nick, I used to go to Chester zoo as a kid, I'd have gone a lot more if I knew there were places to fish nearby.
God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.
