Help! Rod ring

Post by Tonytoned »

Hello Gentlemen.
I have been trying to find a replacement ring for an Ivan Marks lightening Float rod on the web and romsey tackle fair for over a year, but to no avail... Yet!

:holmes:

Here are some measurements.

15-16mm to top of ring
25-26mm taper end to taper end
Ring diameter 6-7mm
Black anodised
3rd ring from the butt on the middle section.

Sorry about the image quality. :Scared:

Any help or information would be very gratefully appreciated. Many thanks
Tony

That's a Fuji ring in black, some had luminous inserts!

Is the middle chrome coloured - it appears so? And the ring outside of that red?

If so it was used on Daiwa rods. I have a set from an old carp/avon rod which is identical - except for "bracing" to strengthen the rings.

Yes Olly chrome and red in between. It is a Diawa rod, been trying for a while to get a ring for this rod.

Hello Nobby. Didn't they do a range of rings called Seymo in the late 70's early 80's ?
