Welcome aboard Keith. I spent some very enjoyable times at as then, Mr Copley's 'Waterways' at Hemingford Grey in the 80's.

Re: New member, living by the sad Ouse at Hemngiford Grey
I remember a Motor Gear AC coach outing to Hemingford Grey, I think it was a collection of pits, LAA water? As a very young lad it was so exciting, didn’t the tench record come from Hemingford Grey, so I was all prepared with tench tactics. Nearly forty years ago now but I can feel the mist on my face sitting perched in a bay I found and I can see in my mind’s eye the orange top to my Ultra peacock waggler (still got it now). It never moved and my memory tells me that I upped sticks to another pit and won the junior section with a roach of less than an ounce! Cheers Keith, all the best, Phil

A hearty welcome, Sir.
