New Member from Burton on Trent
hello from an overcast Burton. I have not fished since an industrial accident in 2007 but I believe I am now recovered enough to have a go next June. I used to fancy myself as a specimen hunter but my days of carrying all that gear are now finished, my plan is to travel light with a nice split cane rod and centre pin trotting the Trent and Dove rivers.
As I mentioned to the admin I have not used any old gear since I started as a 10 yr old kid in the early 70's, it is all going to be quite new to me and I am hoping to pick up tips off you experienced chaps. I'm a big fan of Chris Yates and it's his books and tv programs that have inspired me to try a more leisurely method.
regards
John M.
