Hello from Rutland
Hi
Just wanted to say hello and what a nice find the TFF is. I've been fishing since the early Seventies when I lived in Kent and fished the Darenth Valley but these days I live in Rutland and fish the river Nene mainly. I use a lot of old tackle mainly because it still works fine for me (the fish don't know what rod or reel you're using) and the nostalgia aspect is pretty strong for me. I still love the sound of the Mitchell 300 bail-arm snapping shut and rustle of silver paper bobbins across the grass when you get a bite. Sad, but if it makes you happy!
Cheers Kev

Welcome to the forum
There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.
