Gudgeon Rule

At work last week they were throwing some strips of beech in the skip which were too good to let go, but apart from rulers what else could I use them for. Well a rainy bank holiday brought me to the inevitable conclusion, a gudgeon rule;

Now that i do like, i needed one of those on the gudgeon match on the wally last year mind you one been reported of 8.5 inches so would need it a bit bigger than that :eyebrow:
