That's about £8 more than I like to pay for my books RR  but I will give you a quick profit and at least double your outlay.. how does 20 quid sound :Thumb: :Chuckle: Don't bite my hand off too quickly..... Seriously though that was an excellent purchase and it looks to be in lovely nick. :Hat:

Does the Medlar copy have all the original illustrations?
I got Casting at the Sun when it first came out, the medlar edition has none of the photos in it.

These two greats worked in fleet St in the late 1940s. Jack as a journalist Bernard as an illustrator . Hargreaves became the editor of Lilliput Magazine all before TV. presentation.

Abe books has several copies of fishing for a year the cheapest less than £50 ( not the medlar press).
If you search there for Jack Hargreaves they have many of the Lilliput magazine which appears to be published every two months.

I got a copy of this book late 2020 and its a cracking little book. I especially enjoyed the chapter on starting a child on their fishing journey.
I have just checked and my copy is a first edition (1951) and I think I paid 35 quid for it, it's in excellent condition but has no dust cover.

Thanks
