Men of Trent

Post by StefanDuma »

My long awaited book Men of Trent is printed and I have received the advanced copies as per the pictures. Me looking rather pleased.

Its 208 pages with more than 250 full colour images of reels covering the period 1815 to approx 1880.

It dates the invention of the "centre reel, centre pin", it identifies the inventor of the so called Slater/spring latch.

It cover the William Bailey vs Joe Woodard matches and for the first time a picture of William Bailey.

Its available for pre-order on the website link below.

what is happening above and below water will catch fish no matter what price equipment you fish with.

All done.
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

I've just had a review by John Stephenson, author of Rosewood to Revolution long time friend of mine and fellow enthusiast for Nottingham reels.

I have had lots of great feedback and it is very much appreciated.
