Afternoon
Afternoon everyone, thought I would introduce myself.
As my choice of name suggests I grew up in the Welsh borders. After a gap of many years I've fairly recently started angling again and following a series of amusing conversations in tackle shops (usually along the lines of "sorry, we haven't stocked those for years") have come to the realisation that I am now a traditional fisherman. Not that I intend to change at all, the people who showed me how to fish learned their methods in the 1940s and they still work well!
I've always had a soft spot for perch and tench, but float fishing a river or canal for whatever comes along will always be my favourite method. Looking forward to sharing my small store of knowledge here.
