Gentlemen,
I have recently been given an Allcocks Combination rod. It is generally in good condition but one of the bamboo sections has a rod guide missing. It also seems that the number of guides on the three bamboo sections are a bit 'sparse' compared to the number on the three glass top sections.
Can anyone tell me please what the correct number should be and what their spacing dimensions are on each section (bamboo).
Any help would be much appreciated.
Best regards,
Ian

Thank you Barbelseeker,
I have located a picture of the rod which is somewhat indistinct. I can however get a good idea of the spacing of the guides. It would appear that the rod may have a mixture of high bells and low bells guides but the picture is not clear enough to confirm this. Does anyone have a 50’s / 60’s Allcocks catalogue which shows this information. Your assistance would be much appreciated.
Best regards
