Welcome to the forum the Wandle is my local river I don't fish it anymore but have had some lovely barbel into double figures and chub to over 4 roach to just under 3 it has many surprises. Good luck on your quest

Welcolm from one newbie to another. I grew up not to far from Dulwich. The Oval/Kennington side of Walworth.
Have you thought about giving the river Ravensbourne a go or the Darenth.
