Beltack Trade Display Cases! Wow!
Welcome Paul and thank-you for posting.
Note the two 'cammo' floats....perhaps late Sixties when everything went cammo for a while?
I have an image of a near identical trade card written up for Forshaw's of Liverpool.
I had long suspected that this was the old Beltack Works, lately a scrap yard...it appears I was right for once!
And I imagined them testing some of their products in the cut behind:

Great to see the display card, thanks.
Yes that was the factory, first room on left was the lead shop where they cast the lead weights, very hot in there all year. Also on left is the packing shop where my nan worked packing up all the orders for delivery.
On the right is the main factory, and further to the right our of shot is the paint shop.

Re: Beltack fishing tackle manufactures
Thought I'd add a few more display card images, such lovely things and so rare. It's one thing to have a few Belglow floats in a beer glass to look at but those cards on the wall.....how marvellous that would be!
Matchman Specials and some float caps
Carded for Forshaws again, but now with the silver lettering and a lighter shade of green.
These three cards are all the same, surely they are Belglow too?
My thanks to float research guru Jeff Della Mura for the above images, sadly I don't own these marvellous trade cards.....
Now I never knew they made lead weights!
A bit about them on my blog here, which I can now upate...thanks Paul.

Re: Beltack fishing tackle manufactures
We have found a 1959/60 Beltack catalogue, and a flyer for the Belglow Supermatch, I have scanned them both in as pdf files, but they are too large to attach. will try and find a way to share.

Re: Beltack fishing tackle manufactures
Hello everyone, great thread this one and some lovely looking floats. Just to say I am currently refurbishing a Grove Tackle hollow fibreglass 12' match rod. Trying to get the correct shade of tiger thread is a nightmare but it should look ok and as I have read elsewhere, not a valuable rod as such but pretty unusual. If I get a chance I will put up some pics, regards, Ed.

Re: Beltack fishing tackle manufactures
I came across this thread and the name Beltack rung a bell so after a root around in all of my fishing stuff I found this.
