The River Beane is almost in Ware, Herts! RW caught some large roach there

I’d be interested to see a Richard Walker Specialist. I built something like it from a shortened Mk4 about 15 years ago, shortening the handle and extending the cork forward to make it about 8’6, called it a ‘B James Stalker’. Sold to a friend, wish I had t it was lovely to use in those swims with low trees. Never seeing an original Walker Specialist I’m wondering if it’s something I should look for

Found these pics of a B.James catalogue - not sure of date but it specifies the Avocet with a whole cane butt and shows a "built to endure logo" so could be c.1950's, also it does contain another couple of rods for the list.
