Should this become a net handle?

3 four and a half foot sections.
Butt is probably too large at the bottom and the “tip” is probably too small at the top. Chop it into an equal, two section net handle about 6-8ft long?

Absolutely - it looks just fabulous. May need some fettling to suit but I most certainly would.

I recognise that pattern as being from quite a rare rod, that was on ebay recently, but can't remember the maker. Shame there's no tip section!

Yep, that’s all there is. I’m becoming a bit of a collector of butt and middle sections recently 😩
