Re: New Member introduction
Great intro and welcome, Rotrax.
My first ever fishing experience was a small footbridge crossing a stream in Thames Street, Abingdon. Chances are you have fished all my local haunts from the 70's. Clifton Hampden, Long Wittenham, Appleford, Sutton Courtenay, Wallingford, Dorchester Lake/Lagoon etc.

A warm welcome from North Worcestershire. Now that is an intro and a half - excellent stuff and delighted to have another motorcyclist on here who may still have a few British bikes as the VMCC is mentioned. Several of us fish the Thames at Tadpole Bridge so you probably know about that stretch.

Welcome aboard sir.
Not a fish was visible that first time I visited Beechmere; an utter
stillness brooded over the place and I felt the strange and sinister atmosphere which, so the story goes,
has been the cause of several suicides.’
