What amazes me, is that auctioneers are supposed to do their best for the client - and they cannot be bothered to take out the reels from the cases or rods from the bags. . No doubt they will have to answer queries from interested purchasers, no doubt more than 1, so could have saved themselves some time and increased their revenue stream and hence commission. Humbug!!!

Especially given that viewing access is going to be greatly restricted. Some decent photos would have been useful.

Tennants is always well attended and anything of real value will already be on a few lists. I have put some serious bids in before and come nowhere near.

Most auction houses are very similar to most estate agents ......
No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.

There is no viewing and no bidding at site. Just hope they spend a couple of days placing more photo's - very poor considering.

There are three degrees of untruthfullness: liars, pathological liars and estate agents.Stathamender wrote: ↑Wed Nov 25, 2020 7:34 pmDon't mention estate agents to me. If you are a seller Tennant's is the place to sell. Ive never won anything its always too expensive.
They are a really well run auction house and there is not a problem with additional pictures and information.
