The rod is with Jeremy now and it is very original. The spliced in tip is ‘soft’, so will be replaced. At 12ft it is too long to be nice to use so it with be changed, we have plans! As the writing just says Aspindale it really could be made into anything we want it to be. The butt and middle are quite ‘substantial’ so we feel it could make an excellent barbel rod for all except ‘hit and hold’ tactics or for lobbing heavy leads.
