Billy Connolly, Fishing a mountain loch TV portrais.

Post by Mr B »

It was nice to see Billy Connolly with his pals fishing a mountain loch in Scotland.
He said he took a more traditional approach using a split bamboo rod.
The program was basically about a poet and fiends but there was dome lovely scenery too.
I enjoy seeing the other side to some of our celebrities that we have come to know over the years.
I took a few snaps.. TV Portraits!

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

Good to see the Big Yin out enjoying himself despite his illness.

I think this is from an older program. He's a man that's lived life to the full.

…. and then some! An example to us all. Though every time I think of him or see his picture I burst out laughing over a joke I heard him tell years ago: about two Scotsmen in Rome, Crème de Menthe and the Pope!

I have absolutely nothing against the man and I may well be in the minority, but I have never found his brand of humour to be funny........

The two Scotsmen in Rome - is that the one about the sedan chair?
