The programme has definitely moved into the realm of the "scripted reality" offerings. Tears by numbers....

I find it’s really easy to record and fast forward over that manipulative drivel and focus on the repairs. To be fair to the Beeb, it’s probably what gets the programme most of its viewers. Phil, I agree with everything you say. The FF button is our best weapon! Sometimes I miss the cue to FF.....
I have to admit that I have, stored in my machine, 53 episodes, only half of which I have watched.
