I was able to finally get speculum feathers to once again tie your country's lovely Butcher. These feathers are softer than duck quill, so it took a little practice to get them presentable. Please excuse the bad lighting on the photo. It doesn't give the wings justice.

Lovely. Simple, clean and no doubt effective. This ladies and gents is one of my favorite patterns. Fantastic wing shape. I like the big (ish) head too.

I would have liked ton have gone smaller with the head, but no larger than it is now.

That’s a lovely fly iasgair. I like the white tip to the wing and that will add a good target for the troot to see as the light fades.
