I have an 8ft spinning rod for refurbishing, the 'Spin Gem'
Can anyone identify it? Photos of the name and badly degraded logo enclosed.
A friend thinks that Hardy used the 'Gem' name at one stage.
It does not have the classic Hardy butt cap.
Many thanks, Old Angler

Re: Spin Gem
Constable of Bromley. Look in the traditional cane rods section under that maker. The Spin Gem 8' is listed in the history and models post.

Re: Spin Gem
Hardy most certainly used the name Gem, at least for a small fly reel, one of which I own.
Don't know about any other items

At the end of the game, the pawn and the King go back into the same box........
