J W Youngs centrepin cleaning
Hi all. Can anyone show a picture or diagram of what the black centre cap plus components / springs etc. underneath the cap looks like when dismantled from the reel of the old style J W Youngs Rapidex and Trudex centrepins, I would like to strip my oldest reels down but don't want risk any problems I might encounter along the way

Don't overtighten the screws on the centre boss.

Hi Rod Fisher. Thank you for the photo and your reply. I'm glad I've seen it. I know I would have lost that little spring or not have known exactly where it went if it had fallen out. Very much appreciated
